Regular Season Round 2: Regina - Victoria 54-78

Date: November 2, 2013
And finally the game worth to mention about is Vikies' 24-point blow over Cougars 78-54. The game without a history. Vikies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Vikies outrebounded Cougars 35-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Center Chris McLaughlin (208) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Terrell Evans contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Vikies players scored in double figures. Forward Will Tallman (198) replied with 8 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jeremy Zver (195) added 9 points in the effort for Cougars. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
