Very expected game when Wolfpack (0-2) lost to Golden Bears (2-0) in Kamloops, BC 63-78 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Golden Bears. Wolfpack was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Golden Bears dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Wolfpack's 26. The former international guard Jordan Baker (192-91, college: Utah Valley) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Mamadou Gaeye (198) contributed with 16 points for the winners. American guard Ta-Quan Zimmerman (188, college: Monroe CC) replied with 31 points and 5 rebounds and Troy Grant added 10 points and 5 steals in the effort for Wolfpack. Wolfpack's coach let to play ten players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
