Regular Season Round 10: Shiga L-Stars - Osaka Evessa 81-73

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Osaka Evessa (6-2) against fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (6-2) on Sunday night. Visiting Osaka Evessa was defeated by Shiga L-Stars in a tough game in Shiga 73-81. Osaka Evessa was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 43-34 second half run of Shiga L-Stars. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Shelton Colwell (202-80, college: Missouri St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. American point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Dillion Sneed (203-84, college: E.Tenn.St.) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Osaka Evessa. Shiga L-Stars have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Osaka Evessa. Shiga L-Stars will play against Oita Heat Devils (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Osaka Evessa will play against Iwate Big Bulls (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
