Very expected game when 7th ranked Rotterdam (3-4) was crushed on the road by second ranked Den Bosch (6-1) 85-63 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Rotterdam was better in third quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rotterdam 36-25 including 21 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Tai Wesley (200-86, college: Utah St.) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Den Bosch maintains second position with 6-1 record behind leader Zwolle. Loser Rotterdam dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. Den Bosch will face M.Magixx (#4) in Nijmegen in the next round. Rotterdam will play on the road against the league's leader Zwolle and hope to win that game.
