Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Firenze (2-4) lost at home to sixth ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (4-2) 73-58 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Naturhouse Ferrara. Firenze was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American point guard Julius Mays (188-89, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Daniele Casadei (199-81) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturhouse Ferrara's coach Andrea Pulidori used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and center Marco Pazzi (203-79) added 21 points in the effort for Firenze. Naturhouse Ferrara have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Firenze dropped to the thirteenth place with four games lost. Naturhouse Ferrara will face Treviglio (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
