Regular Season Round 3: Armia - MIA Academy 70-55

Armia defeated MIA in Tbilisi 70-55. The game without a history. Armia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Armia outrebounded MIA 48-37 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Buba Kvimsadze (195-82) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Guard Koka Tomaradze (197-90) answered with 16 points and the former international center Davit Ugrekhelidze (207-83) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for MIA. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MIA will play next round against Olimpi trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi - Olimpi. Armia will try to continue on its current victory against Maccabi Tbilisi. It will be extra interesting game as Maccabi Tbilisi is their local rival from Tbilisi.
