Regular Season Round 12: Sanda - Brahe Basket 70-72 OT

Bottom-ranked Sanda Basket is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to tenth ranked Brahe Basket (2-5) 72-70 on Wednesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sanda Basket won third quarter 20-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Sanda Basket used huge pressure winning it 13-11 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 10-12. It was a good game for Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Albin Hedin (185-91) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Albin Eriksson (189-96) replied with 18 points and point guard Jordan Peltier (188-95) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sanda Basket. Four Sanda Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brahe Basket moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Haga Haninge. Sanda Basket at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Solna Branten. Brahe Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sanda Basket will play on the road against Haga Haninge (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
