Eco Orebro (#9) forced the game against LF Basket (#8) into an overtime, but lost by two points 116-118. The game took place in Orebro. But the guests from Lulea were better at the end. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 7-point deficit before their 35-28 run, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 13-11. LF Basket made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Eco Orebro outrebounded LF Basket 41-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Keith McLeod (190-79, college: Bowling Green) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Christopher Ryan (196-90) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Croatian point guard Mario Pesut (184-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and American guard Ronnie Boggs (193-91, college: Jacksonville St.) added 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Eco Orebro. Five LF Basket and four Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. LF Basket maintains eighth position with 3-6 record. Eco Orebro at the other side keeps the ninth place with eight games lost. LF Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked KFUM Jamtland (#6) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Eco Orebro will play against the league's leader Boras Basket having rather not much hope for a victory.
