Bottom-ranked Eskinstuna is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Northland (2-1) 109-64 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Northland led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Eskinstuna's 38 and made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game, while Eskinstuna only scored eight points from the stripe. They outrebounded Eskinstuna 47-21 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Northland looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Eskinstuna's players. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian Dajana Butulija (176-86, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international power forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's, agency: Josep and Nicolas) accounted for 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Five Northland players scored in double figures. Forward Anno Ericsson (179-81) came up with 19 points and center Helena Lundberg (183-89) added 11 points respectively for Eskinstuna in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Northland moved-up to fifth place.
