The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 16-9. But Charleville-Mezieres won second period 9-8. The victory was the third consecutive win for Arras. They maintain seventh place with 4-3 record. Charleville-Mezieres at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Landes. Arras will play against higher ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Charleville-Mezieres will play against the league's leader Bourges having rather not much hope for a victory.
