Top ranked Catania (3-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Min.Battipaglia (3-1) 76-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Catania. It was a key game for the second position in Center-South. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 37-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Min.Battipaglia made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. Catania will play against the league's second-placed Brindisi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
