Regular Season Round 6: SKK Siedlce - MKS Skierniew. 90-59

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Siedlce. Second ranked SKK Siedlce faced one of their biggest challengers MKS Skierniew.. Host SKK Siedlce (5-1) smashed guests from Skierniewice (4-2) 90-59. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MKS Skierniew.. It was a key game for the top position in Group C. It looked good early as MKS Skierniew. took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then SKK Siedlce had a 24-12 second period charge getting the lead and MKS Skierniew. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 59-90. SKK Siedlce players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by MKS Skierniew.'s players. Lukasz Ratajczak (201-86, agency: Promotex) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) supported him with 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Coach Wieslaw Gluszczak's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by forward Radoslaw Jarosz (190-83) did not help to save the game for MKS Skierniew.. Guard Marcin Krajewski (195-89) added 12 points and 8 rebounds. SKK Siedlce keeps a position of Group C leader, which they share with AZS AGH Alstom. MKS Skierniew. at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. SKK Siedlce's next round opponent will be Wisla Krakow (#9) on the road and are hoping to win another game. MKS Skierniew. will play against Tur Bielsk Pdl. (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
