No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Sokol Lancut (3-4) crushed 13th ranked AZS PP (1-6) in Poznan 77-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sokol Lancut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for power forward Tomasz Pisarczyk (202-85) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Pawel Hybiak (173-89) answered with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Tomasz Baszak (183-82) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for AZS PP. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Lancut maintains ninth place with 3-4 record. AZS PP lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with six games lost. Sokol Lancut will face higher ranked Start Lublin (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS PP will play against the league's leader MOSiR Krosno (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
