Regular Season Round 7: MKS DG - Kutno 90-83

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Kutno (5-2) against fourth ranked MKS DG (5-2) on Saturday night. Visiting Kutno was defeated by MKS DG in a tough game in Dabrowa Gornicza 83-90. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kutno. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. They outrebounded Kutno 42-29 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kutno was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Michal Woloszyn (201-84) helped adding 21 points. At the losing side guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (182-86) responded with 21 points and 5 steals and point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MKS DG moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Kutno. MKS DG will play against league's second-placed SIDEn Torun on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kutno will play against Stal Ostrow and hopes to get back on the winning track.
