Regular Season Round 7: KK Hito - Tarvas 102-118
Date: November 9, 2013
Bottom-ranked KK Hito (0-9) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to second ranked BC Rakvere (6-2) 118-102 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. KK Hito managed to win fourth quarter 47-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely KK Hito outrebounded BC Rakvere 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Guard Mihkel Kurg (190-87) fired 38 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winners. International point guard Kristo Saage (187-85) chipped in 20 points. Tonis Uuekula (201-88) produced 26 points and 6 rebounds and guard Siim Laur (189-87) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four BC Rakvere and five KK Hito players scored in double figures. BC Rakvere keeps a position of league leader. Loser KK Hito still closes the standings with nine games lost. BC Rakvere will meet Tln Kalev (#5) in the next round. KK Hito will have a break next round.
