Regular Season Round 7: TU/Rock - Kalev/Cramo 75-78

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated TU/Rock (5-1) in Tartu on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by leader Kalev/Cramo (4-0) 78-75. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of TU/Rock. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 27-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely TU/Rock outrebounded Kalev/Cramo 43-28 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Romanian forward Vlad-Sorin Moldoveanu (209-88, college: American) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side the former international Janar Talts (205-83) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89, agency: Beo Basket) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kalev/Cramo have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to third place. TU/Rock at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. Kalev/Cramo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Tln Kalev.
