Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Valencia Basket and 5th ranked CAI Zaragoza had identical 3-1 record. This time Valencia Basket used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Zaragoza 96-76 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. CAI Zaragoza managed to win second period 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They maintain fourth place with 4-1 record, which they share with Unicaja. Loser CAI Zaragoza dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with CB Canarias. Valencia Basket will meet Blusens Monbus (#15) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CAI Zaragoza will play against Cajasol (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
