No shocking result in a game in Verona where twelfth ranked Tezenis VE (3-4) edged bottom-ranked LeGamberi Foods Forli (1-6) 74-71 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But LeGamberi Foods Forli won fourth quarter 19-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded LeGamberi Foods Forli 39-28 including 25 on the defensive glass. American point guard Jerry Smith (188-87, college: Louisville) fired 15 points and 5 assists for the winners.
