There was no surprise when 13th ranked Aget Service IM (1-6) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Sigma Barcellona (5-2) 97-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Sigma Barcellona. Aget Service IM was better in second period 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sigma Barcellona dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Aget Service IM's 24. Sigma Barcellona forced 21 Aget Service IM turnovers and outrebounded them 39-22 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sigma Barcellona looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American-Bulgarian point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) fired 27 points and 9 assists for the winners. American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI) chipped in 28 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sigma Barcellona players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Marco Passera (181-82) produced 12 points and 6 assists and Trinidad and Tobago-American point guard Ian Young (191-81, college: Auburn) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Sigma Barcellona moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Aget Service IM lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with six games lost. Sigma Barcellona will face Fileni BPA Jesi (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aget Service IM will play against Trento (#5) and hope to win that game.
