Regular Season Round 7: P.Mantovana - Lucca 70-100

Date: November 10, 2013
12th ranked P.Mantovana (3-4) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Lucca (4-3) with the biggest margin this round 100-70. The game without a history. Lucca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Davide Parente (188-83) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Rodolfo Valenti (198-80) contributed with 23 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Lucca players scored in double figures. Lucca's coach Matteo Mecacci felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and forward Alex Ranuzzi (195-86, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for P.Mantovana. Lucca moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. P.Mantovana at the other side dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Lucca's next round opponent will be Casalpusterlengo (#7) at home. P.Mantovana will play against the league's second-placed Naturhouse Ferrara and hope to win that game.
