Very expected game when 8th ranked Air Avellino (2-3) lost on the road to fourth ranked Cantu (4-1) 74-67 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-67. American players dominated the game. Guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) contributed with 7 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Cantu players scored in double figures.
