Regular Season Round 7: PMS Torino - Upea CdO 76-82

An interesting game where Upea CdO (#8) won against host PMS Torino (#4) 82-76 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of PMS Torino. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But PMS Torino won third quarter 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Dominique Archie (200-87, college: S.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Keddric Mays (183-84, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) helped adding 20 points. At the losing side the former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80) responded with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (212-90) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Upea CdO have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lighthouse TR. Newly promoted PMS Torino dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Upea CdO will meet bottom-ranked LeGamberi Foods Forli (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PMS Torino will play against Napoli Basket (#10) and hope to secure a win.
