American point guard Vance Cooksey (183-87, college: Pikeville) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Sigurdur Thorvaldsson (201-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Snaefell moved-up to eighth place, which they share with IR. Defending champion Grindavik keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Snaefell will face IR (#8) in Reykjavik in the next round. Grindavik will play at home against Stjarnan (#7) and hope to win that game.
