Maccabi Ashdod's coach Eliyahu Rabi felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Management Group) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Keren Nechama (176-90) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Maccabi Ashdod will meet Elitzur Ramla on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hap.Petah Tikva will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
