No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (4-7) defeated at home 10th ranked Saitama Broncos (2-11) 78-66 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning next two quarters and won the game by 12 points. Tokyo Cinq R. outrebounded Saitama Broncos 51-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. American swingman Ricky Woods (194-84, college: SE Louisiana) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Guard Yuji Yuji (181-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Tokyo Cinq R. players scored in double figures.
