The game in Kolobrzeg supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked PGE Turow (4-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Kotwica (2-4). PGE Turow smashed Kotwica 93-69 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kotwica. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Kotwica managed to win fourth quarter 25-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. PGE Turow looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was international Lukasz Wisniewski (186-84, college: Barton County CC, agency: Promotex) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. The former international Filip Dylewicz (202-80) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jessie Sapp (186-86, college: Georgetown) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import Karron Johnson (201-88, college: Midland CC) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PGE Turow have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 4-1 record behind leader Energa Czarni, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Kotwica at the other side keeps the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Asseco. PGE Turow will meet at home league's leader Energa Czarni in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kotwica will play against Trefl Sopot (#4) and hope to secure a win.
