Regular Season Round 15: Tsukuba R. - Mitsubishi DD 65-83

Date: November 14, 2013
Rather predictable result when second ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (11-5) defeated on the road 6th ranked Tsukuba R. (3-13) 83-65 on Thursday. The game without a history. Mitsubishi Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for Senegalese-French forward Amath M'Baye (206-89, college: Oklahoma) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) helped adding 20 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Lamar Sanders (198-84, college: Lamar) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Croatian-Canadian center Ljubisa Vrcelj (210-84, college: Jacksonville) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mitsubishi Dolphins. They maintain second place with 11-5 record having just one points less than leader Aishin SH. Tsukuba R. lost their ninth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
