No shocking result in a game in Ciudad Victoria where eighth ranked Huracanes (6-5) smashed 13th ranked Correcaminos (2-10) 90-71. The game was mostly controlled by Huracanes. Correcaminos was better in third quarter 24-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Huracanes forced 19 Correcaminos turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for international point guard Omar Quintero (183-81, college: S.Nazarene) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
