Regular Season Round 3: Xinjiang FT - Shanghai S. 108-61

The most surprising game was a loss of Shanghai Sharks (2-1) in Urumqi on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Xinjiang Flying Tige (2-1) 108-61. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Xinjiang Flying Tige forced 25 Shanghai Sharks turnovers. It was a good game for forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Von Wafer (196-85, college: Florida St.) answered with 15 points and forward Liang Cai (203-92) added 13 points in the effort for Shanghai Sharks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang Flying Tige is looking forward to face Sichuan BW (#18) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Shanghai Sharks will play against Shanxi Zhongyu (#17) in Taiyuan and are hoping to win this game.
