The most surprising game was the first loss of Perfumerias Avenida (5-1) in Huelva on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by eighth ranked Conquero (3-3) 62-59. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Perfumerias Avenida. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 23-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Dutch guard Tanya Broering (178-84) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Itziar German (184-86) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Conquero moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Defending champion Perfumerias Avenida still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Gran Canaria and Rivas Ecopolis. Conquero is looking forward to face Cadi ICG S. (#10) in Seu D'urgell in the next round where they are favorite. Perfumerias Avenida will play at home against Argon Uni Girona (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
