The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Leche Rio Breogan as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Leche Rio Breogan defeated 6th ranked Lobe Huesca in Lugo 57-50. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lobe Huesca. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 14-10. But Lobe Huesca won second period 14-13. Lithuanian forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) answered with 14 points and point guard Lluis Costa (186-93) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Lobe Huesca. Lobe Huesca's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Leche Rio Breogan have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Andorra. Lobe Huesca at the other side keeps the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Burgos.
