An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Svit. First ranked Inter Bratislava faced 4th ranked Iskra Svit. Guests from Bratislava (9-2) defeated host Iskra Svit (6-5) 96-82. They outrebounded Iskra Svit 38-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Inter Bratislava players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Iskra Svit's players. It was a good game for American guard Justin Graham (193-88, college: San Jose St.) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) replied with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Lakeem Jackson (196-89, college: S.Carolina) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Iskra Svit. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Inter Bratislava have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-2 record. Iskra Svit at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Rieker KN (#3) in Komarno in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Iskra Svit will play on the road against Nova Ves and hopes to get back on the winning track.
