Rather predictable result in Skierniewice where fifth ranked MKS Skierniew. (5-2) beat 8th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (3-4) 92-75 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. MKS Skierniew. forced 22 Tur Bielsk Pdl. turnovers. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) fired 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Lukasz Owczarek (178-95) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. MKS Skierniew. will face Pulaski Warka (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play against Wisla Krakow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
