Regular Season Round 3: Fujitsu RW - Yamanashi QB 71-47

Fujitsu RW used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Yamanashi 71-47 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Fujitsu RW. Yamanashi QB was better in fourth quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Yamanashi QB to just 4 points in second quarter. Fujitsu RW forced 20 Yamanashi QB turnovers. It was a good game for international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) who led her team to a victory with 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). International point guard Rui Machida (161-93) contributed with 6 points and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Kasumi Yagi (165-92) answered with 13 points and guard Saori Kanehara (164-87) added 12 points in the effort for Yamanashi QB. Fujitsu RW will face again Yamanashi QB (#12) at home in the next round.
