Regular Season Round 10: Widzew - Wisla Krakow 46-86

Undefeated leader Wisla Krakow delivered the tenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Widzew (2-8) 86-46 in Lodz. The game without a history. Wisla Krakow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Wisla Krakow forced 24 Widzew turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Wisla Krakow especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Hungarian-American guard Allie Quigley (178-86, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 assists. American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. International Aleksandra Pawlak (189-84) replied with 10 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Tynikki Crook (185-89, college: Marshall, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Widzew. Widzew's coach Janusz Wierzbicki gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Wisla Krakow (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Widzew at the other side keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Wisla Krakow will play against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (#7) in Gorzow Wlkp. in the next round where they are favorite. Widzew will play on the road against the league's second-placed CCC Polkowice and hopes to get back on the winning track.
