Regular Season Round 14: Kyoto Hannar. - Osaka Evessa 82-72

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (8-4) beat at home 5th ranked Osaka Evessa (6-6) 82-72 on Sunday. Osaka Evessa was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 29-15 charge of Kyoto Hannar., which allowed them to win the game. Osaka Evessa was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) orchestrated the victory by scoring 32 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Puerto Rican-American swingman Edwin Ubiles (198-86, college: Siena) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import power forward Zachary Andrews (203-85, college: Bradley) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Osaka Evessa.
