Regular Season Round 4: Foshan LL - Liaoning H. 114-105

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Foshan and 7th ranked Liaoning Hunters had identical 2-1 record. This time Foshan used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Yingkou 114-105 on Sunday night. Liaoning Hunters were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Foshan made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Foshan outrebounded Liaoning Hunters 43-25 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Gerald Fitch (191-82, college: Kentucky, agency: SportsTalent) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 assists and forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) who added 19 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) responded with 32 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and center Chris Daniels (212-84, college: Limoges) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Five Foshan and four Liaoning Hunters players scored in double figures. Foshan (3-1) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Liaoning Hunters dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Foshan will face Jilin Tigers (#16) in Changchun in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Liaoning Hunters will play at home against Sichuan BW (#18) and hope to win that game.
