Regular Season Round 17: Solna Branten - BG Lulea 87-75

Solna Branten has finally registered their first victory this season after six consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat BG Lulea (1-7) 87-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Solna Branten. BG Lulea managed to win fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Solna Branten forced 24 BG Lulea turnovers. Nathan Dawit (192-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and guard Michael Andraos (186-94) chipped in 16 points and 4 steals. Five Solna Branten players scored in double figures. Guard Marcus Grahn (187-95) responded with 17 points and forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Solna Branten (1-6) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with Orongo and Talje. It was BG Lulea's sixth loss in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Solna Branten is looking forward to face higher ranked KFUM Blackebergs (#7) in Vallingby in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BG Lulea will have a break next round.
