Pelita Jaya smashed NSH GMC in Jakarta 88-62. The game without a history. Pelita Jaya led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to NSH GMC's 42 and made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded NSH GMC 46-25 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Ponsianus Indrawan (191-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Ary Chandra (182-84) helped adding 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Max Yanto (215-83) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Imanudin Husnuzan (168-81) scored 8 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
