No shocking result in a game in Rethymno where top-ranked Olympiacos (6-0) smashed 6th ranked AGOR (3-3) 103-79 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Olympiacos. AGOR was better in fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Olympiacos outrebounded AGOR 32-19 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by AGOR's players. The best player for the winners was the former international Stratos Perperoglou (203-84) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. American-Belgian guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiacos have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. AGOR at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Olympiacos will face Apollon Patras (#5) at home in the next round.
