Regular Season Round 4: Ramat Hasharon - Elitzur Netanya 80-71

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Elitzur Netanya (2-2) against seventh ranked Ramat Hasharon (2-1) on Monday night. Visiting Elitzur Netanya was defeated by Ramat Hasharon in a tough game in Hasharon 71-80. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Elitzur Netanya won third quarter 27-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Ramat Hasharon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by guard Tierra Ruffin-Pratt (178-91, college: N.Carolina) who scored that evening 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and center Shamela Hampton (191-87, college: UNLV) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. Even 23 points and 6 rebounds by point guard Amanda Houts (168-87, college: Georgia, agency: Josep and Nicolas) did not help to save the game for Elitzur Netanya. Forward Jasmine Hassell (188-91, college: Georgia) added 22 points for lost side. Ramat Hasharon moved-up to third place, which they share with Bnot Hertzeliya and Elitzur Holon. Loser Elitzur Netanya dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Maccabi Ashdod. Ramat Hasharon will meet Maccabi Ashdod (#7) on the road in the next round. Elitzur Netanya will have a break next round.
