Regular Season Round 12: Nassjo - Sundsvall 93-99

Bottom-ranked Nassjo is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to fourth ranked Sundsvall Dragons (6-5) 99-93 on Tuesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 33-27. But Nassjo won second period 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sundsvall Dragons made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) who scored that evening 31 points and Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) supported him with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 25 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists by American forward Taylor Brown (198-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Nassjo. International forward Alexander Lindqvist (205-91) added 24 points and 6 rebounds. Five Sundsvall Dragons and four Nassjo players scored in double figures. Sundsvall Dragons maintains fourth position with 6-5 record. Loser Nassjo still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Sundsvall Dragons will meet at home Solna Vikings (#7) in the next round. Nassjo will play against LF Basket and hopes to get finally their first victory.
