D1 top team - Al Rayyan (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat tenth ranked Qatar Sports Club (1-8) in Doha 100-82. American players dominated the game. point guard Boney Watson (183-78, college: Sam Houston St.) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jermareo Davidson (208-84, college: Alabama) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Watson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was center Jermaine Bell (213-84, college: Indian Hills CC) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Chauncey Leslie (183-81, college: Iowa) scored 20 points and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Rayyan have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-0 record. Qatar Sports Club at the other side stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. They share the position with Al Shamal and Al Ahli.
