The game had a very big importance for second-ranked River Andorra as it allowed them to take a leadership position. River Andorra defeated 9th ranked Clinicas Rincon at home 88-77. The game was mostly controlled by River Andorra. Clinicas Rincon was better in fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by forward Jordi Trias (207-80) who scored that evening 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Austrian point guard Thomas Schreiner (195-87, agency: Dynamics Global Management) supported him with 16 points. River Andorra have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Clinicas Rincon lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. They share the position with Melilla and Cocinas.com. Clinicas Rincon will play next round against Burgos trying to get back on the winning streak. River Andorra will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Oviedo CB on the road.
