Regular Season Round 7: NSH GMC - Stadium 53-55

Bottom-ranked NSH GMC (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Stadium (3-1) 55-53. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 11-8 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Valentino Wuwungan (193-89) who led the winners and scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. The former international swingman Vavories Palopo (186-84) accounted for 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Juliano Sucipto (188-82) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and point guard Herman Kurniawan (171-86) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for NSH GMC in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Stadium have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with M88 Aspac. NSH GMC at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Stadium will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NSH GMC will play on the road against Pacific Caesar (#7) in Surabaya and hopes to get finally their first victory.
