Regular Season Round 13: Lanus - Wuber-Est.Bahia 78-72

Date: November 22, 2013
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Wuber-Est.Bahia (4-9) lost to eighth ranked Lanus (3-10) in Buenos Aires 72-78 on Friday. It was a very good performance for American forward Kavon Lytch (199-87, college: Oklahoma City) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Lanus players scored in double figures. Forward Lisandro Rasio (198-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Diego Gerbaudo (178-89) added 11 points in the effort for Wuber-Est.Bahia. Wuber-Est.Bahia's coach Sebastian Ginobili rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Lanus maintains eighth place with 3-10 record, which they share with Olimpico LB. Loser Wuber-Est.Bahia keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Lanus will face higher ranked Quilmes MP (#4) in Mar del Plata in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
