Undefeated Perth Wildcats (9-1) recorded its first loss in Findon on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Adelaide 36ers (7-2) 91-86. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Perth Wildcats trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 26-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 86-91 at the end of the game. Adelaide 36ers dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Perth Wildcats' 32. 26 personal fouls committed by Perth Wildcats helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
