Regular Season Round 15: Takamatsu FA - Osaka Evessa 101-95

The game in Takamatsu was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Osaka Evessa (6-8) played at the court of eighth ranked Takamatsu FA (5-7). Takamatsu FA managed to secure a 6-point victory 101-95 on Friday. Takamatsu FA looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Osaka Evessa was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Forward Andrais Thornton (203-85, college: NW Missouri St.) helped adding 14 points and 12 rebounds. Takamatsu FA's coach Kenzo Maeda used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists and power forward Zachary Andrews (203-85, college: Bradley) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Takamatsu FA and five Osaka Evessa players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Takamatsu FA. They maintain eighth place with 5-7 record. Osaka Evessa lost their eighth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
