Regular Season Round 15: Shiga L-Stars - Tokyo Cinq R. 68-65

Very expected game when 9th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (4-9) was edged on the road by fifth ranked Shiga L-Stars (7-6) 68-65 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Tokyo Cinq R. trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 22-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 65-68 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for American forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American swingman Ricky Woods (194-84, college: SE Louisiana) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import power forward Edward Morris (205-84, college: Pittsburg St.) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Shiga L-Stars maintains fifth place with 7-6 record. Tokyo Cinq R. lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. Shiga L-Stars will face again Tokyo Cinq R. (#9) at home in the next round.
