Regular Season Round 15: Shimane SM - Bambitious Nara 85-74

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked Shimane Magic (2-11) beat at home 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (2-11) 85-74 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 49-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Shimane Magic had a 37-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bambitious Nara was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for center Jeral Davis (216-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward LaShawn Malloy (209-84, college: New Orleans) helped adding 12 points and 13 rebounds. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Shimane Magic players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Adrian Moss (203-81, college: Florida) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Shimane Magic moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Bambitious Nara and Gunma. Shimane Magic will face again Bambitious Nara (#9) in the next round.
